Preventing Impotence

Impotence can be referred to as erectile problems. It is much more common in men that are above sixty, but it does hit men at any stage in their life. Can this problem affect or destroy a relationship? It most certainly can. Fortunately there is a solution and any man can start working on his impotence problems right away.

The best way to prevent  male impotence is to not smoke or quit smoking asap. The three ways to do reduce your chance of suffering from sexual dysfunction include:
1. quitting smoking
2. talking to a doctor about the problem
3. speaking to a therapist or joining a support group

If these three methods do not work to stop a man's smoking addiction then the next step would be using a preventive impotence treatment as a man reaches around 30 years of age or when the first signs of symptoms appear. Even through impotence is not a life-threatening medical condition it can compromise overall well-being and quality of life for both a man and his partner.

What causes impotence? There are different reasons: lifestyle, psychological and physical.

While the majority suffer because of psychological and physical factors, there are some caused due to lifestyle and many cases have been seen where mild impotence has increased due to lifestyles. Lifestyle causes include consumption of nicotine, heroin, alcohol, steroids and cocaine. Another lifestyle factor includes obesity caused by inactivity. To be able to enjoy sex and provide good sex to the female partner, it is important to have a fit and a well-nourished body. Exercise along with a balanced diet plays a very important role.

For men with a minor problem of impotence, they can try using penis enlargement pills, devices or patches. SizeGenetics, ProSolution Pills and Volume Pills are being used by several men and reviews show that many have seen excellent results. These products help with penis enlargement as well as with sexual dysfunctions. They can help men achieve and maintain an erection.

Impotence can make it harder to conceive a child, or in extreme cases where the man is completely unable, impossible to conceive. If a man and woman have gotten together to raise a family, and this purpose becomes influenced by the man's problem, then the relationship will suffer. There may be a lot more arguments between you and your partner as a result of the frustration of being unable to produce children. This added stress will not help the impotency problem either, because as stress rises, the erection problems become larger. It is a vicious circle that can lead to a separation or divorce, especially if the relationship was not as perfect as it could be in the first place.
